Player’s ages are determined by their age on the date of January 1 of the current year of the start of the individual season. Your child can play up a division, but not down a division.
Chipmunk (Ages 4 - 6)
Chipmunks will start Saturday September 21 at 3:30 pm. Online registration ends Thursday September 12. There will be 5 sessions. The cost is $60. Your child will play Saturdays September 21, October 5, 12, 19, and 26. All sessions will be from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Times and Dates are always subject to change. Online registration ends Thursday September 12.
Each player under 18 years of age must wear a helmet with a cage or plexiglas full face guard, elbow pads, street or ice hockey gloves, shin guards, running shoes, and a hockey stick with a plastic or abs blade. Each player from Chipmunk to Freshman will be provided with a South Hills Dek Hockey shirt.
Penguin (Ages 7 - 9)
The Penguin Division’s first Practice Draft is Thursday September 12 from 6:00 pm to 6:50 pm, the Second Practice Draft is Thursday September 19 from 6:00 pm to 6:50 pm. Please attend these practice drafts so we can correctly evaluate the players to divide the teams up evenly. The first regular season game will be Thursday September 26. 10 games + playoffs, $65 per player. Regular season games will be played at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Thursdays and at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm on Saturdays. Online registration ends Tuesday September 10. Game times/dates are always subject to change due to the number of teams, and the number of teams in the other leagues. There will also be some games played on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm when the availability is needed. Online registration ends Tuesday September 10.

The Freshman In-House League will start up in the Spring of 2020. Online registrations will be accepted in January of 2020.

Adult
Fall Adult Leagues will begin Tuesday September 3. Registrations are now being accepted. Please call 412-405-9579 or email info@southhillsdekhockey.com to register your team. The cost is $650 per team with a minimum of a 10 player roster. We now play Floating Blue Line. We have 5 Divisions: Adams (Low), Wales (Medium Low), Smythe (Medium), Norris (Medium High), and Patrick (High). We need all rosters by Sunday August 18 to be included in our Fall Adult Season.
